Sponsors and Donors

WISEST relies on donations from corporations, foundations, individuals and the public sector in order to develop and deliver our innovative programs. We could not be a success without such generosity.

We invite you to make a gift in recognition of the important work that we do in the community: encouraging and enabling women to engage and advance in careers in science and engineering, and promoting a future of gender equity in the workplace.

Our cherished donors are given recognition at public events, media opportunities, on the WISEST website, in WISEST newsletters and in annual publications. There are also many opportunities to become involved and to meet the people who benefit from their donations. Charitable tax receipts will be provided for all donations.


Opportunities for support include:

General support of WISEST activities and events, with funds to be directed where they are most needed.

The Fund for the Future: to help support future WISEST initiatives such as Meet a Mentor and the Science Discovery Bus.

Our current programs: the SET Conference or the Summer Research Program 

The Margaret-Ann Armour Endowment Fund for Rural Students: supports those students who need financial assistance to temporarily relocate to Edmonton for the WISEST Summer Research Program experience.
