Make the WISEST Choice:
More Diversity Means More Innovation

Funding for WISEST comes from a special blend of organizations at the leading edge of progress and sustainability thinking in Alberta and in Canada. We would love to see you as part of that funding blend.

We invite you to invest in a program that broadens senior-high school students’ awareness of the importance of science, engineering and technology in our world today and the diverse careers available to them in these areas.

The WISEST Summer Research Program provides valuable experience in hands-on, innovative and cutting-edge research and an opportunity to share questions and concerns about careers leading to decision-making roles in the sciences and engineering.

Watch this video to see and hear about the fabulous experiences our WISEST Summer Researchers have.

Young women do research in science, engineering and technology, and young men explore nursing, human ecology or nutrition in this paid research experience at the University of Alberta.

WISEST relies on the generosity of our donors; our programs are supported directly through funds raised in the wider community. Generous support provided by the University of Alberta for our business infrastructure, materials and operating systems allows WISEST to move our external funding directly towards support for our program participants.

We are pleased to present additional information (at right), demonstrating the clear return on investment from your funding outlay. You will find the results to be sure and satisfying.

We are mindful
that you are called upon for financial support by many commendable causes.

WISEST requests you consider our business case for becoming a funding member of our community.
